Windschief Jr. is here!!

Dec. 7 was the day when little Amon came to check out the world. A proper boy of 55cm, 7 lbs 12oz with all toes and fingers making his parents proud...



A big thanks to all our friends who are very supportive, it's good to know that we're not alone!
And a special salut to Judy, who accompanied and helped us all the way, no words can describe what she did for us!
Judy and her husband run the Equity House Belize in Hopkins, a private clinic mainly working on donations. People can pay with mangos, rice or nothing if they can't afford it - a blessing for Hopkins.

Due to the growth of our family now we decided to let our house grow too, which will take some time. Therefore occupying our big cabana, we only rent out the small one until approximately April.

Turtle Invasion at the Windschief! On July 31 a big ol' turtle showed up and left her eggs behind. Now the bets where on when the little ones gonna come out of the hole - it was September 26, right on the full moon! Here is some pix of Mama and when we helped about 150 baby turtles find the way to the sea...

Hello everybody - it's the day after the day after the hurricane. One good thing for Southern Belize - there was no hurricane! After we (meaning the whole village) put everything away and secured the boats and on and on we sit here waiting for that thing and luckily it never showed up...
So back to normal, we're up and running!

wow only two entries and one year is gone! Last Sunday (April 22!) we went out on the honeymoon-boat, after we've had a wonderful first year of marriage we decided to inspire some friends and do a honeymoon revival cruise - thanks to Alan again! The boat was packed and we spent a great day on the water...

A new feature at the Windschief - Saturday night is MOVIE NIGHT! yeeaaah thats fun, on 7 foot screen with Dolby Digital surround sound. When Captain Jack Sparrows Black Pearl got sucked down it felt like our place was going down with it!!!

oh and as we talk about schedules, on Fridays we have Oldies Night (by the means of music!), we also show concert videos - bring what you have!
It also became a popular night to try out your dart skills!

And more news to come - Windschief goes on tour again! in June we are outta here and (hopefully with a soft) touchdown in Germany! Hope to fill my tanks with cherries and strawberries this time! Pams uncle Mark will be here taking care of the bar junkies and potential cabana guests, so don't worry and do come!

Massive New Years Greetings to all da people out there!
We are still here, mixing drinks, cleaning cabanas, fight with printers and windows-networking and when we have enough of it all we go out on the deep blue sea :o)
Life is still good, tourist season is getting started rapidly, so to all of ya who want to spend some days at the Windschief - make reservations quick!
Oh - of course, next Full Moon Party will be on Saturday Feb. 3rd and on Sunday Feb.4th we'll have the Superbowl on a 5' screen!!!
